Relentlessly real, releasing tough and tender, tricky and true tracks for over a decade on conceptually complex albums, artist/producer Janile "Mundy,” member of Seattle-based hip hop group (OABN) One Above Below None, formed in 2011 with artist/producer Devante "Tavion" Cash, and producer Robert Reeves, explores identity and connection through transitory soundscapes composed individually and collaboratively; I’m Good featuring Fatal Lucciauno, Telephone produced by Jay 808, and I Told Myself spotlighting lyricist Derrick White, tracks with dueling barks and bites fueling dynamic live shows; winning MoPop Sound Off! 2015, opening performances at Bumbershoot Festival, and Capitol Hill Block Party, while resonating creative passion off-stage into community engagement; coordinating collectives and events, facilitating music-maker mentorships, and engineering music production at their diverse talent generating recording facility, OA Studios in SODO Seattle.

"Fresh on our radar, the rapper [MUNDY] is gunning out the gate on this one....The slow emotional record [MUNDY VIBES] builds slowly through each verse..."

- Mitch Pfeifer aka M-Pyre
Respect My Region Hip-Hop Blog 2017

HIP HOP CYPHER @ MOKSHA | JANUARY 19, 2017

“Their stage presence is like mixing gasoline and a lighter, and they deserve every drop of your attention."

- Hip Hop Cypher Seattle 2017
UW Hip Hop Student Association

"We do a lot of community shows, because we started making music in a South Seattle community studio, so that connection is with us everywhere we go."

ONE ABOVE BELOW NONE [OABN] WINS SOUND OFF! 2015 | MoPop (formerly EMP)

HIP HOP CYPHER @ MOKSHA | May 26, 2015

CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY  |  JULY 25, 2015

"One Above None Below performed last, offering a set that featured all new songs, composed just seven days earlier. Marquise Brown’s smooth, effortless drumming commanded the attention of the crowd, setting a beat so solid Cash and Mundy could roam freely with their lyrics. “He brings that spark,” Mundy said of Brown."

- Thuc Nhi Nguyen | THE SEATTLE TIMES
EMP MUSEUM SOUNDOFF!2015 Review

"With an exciting, unpredictable stage presence and an entirely never-before-heard set of songs prepared for Finals, the group went hard to excite and surprise the audience as much as possible. Jumping insane heights, talking and joking with the audience and entering rap-battles with each other on stage, One Above Below None had a constant energy that guided their performances."

- Staff Reporters | The Roosevelt News
EMP Museum SoundOff! 2015 Review

"OABN’s music; subtler and more slow-burning than your average hip-hop fare...Definitely ones to watch."

- Daniel Roth | THE SEATTLE WEEKLY
Bumbershoot Review 2015

“...with the confidence of guys half their age, MCs Devante Cash and Mundy delivered refreshingly unsentimental but sometimes bluntly poetic lyrics..."
